One week in August homework.
Go to the STUDENT BLOG tab and write Hello and comment about your first week at school. ARE YOU HAPPY OR SAD?
The most important thing is to work on technology typing skills. Please refer to typing tile Dance mat on symbaloo on the HOME PAGE!. Spend at least 15 minutes a day practicing every day in August. Also review Math site tile IXL-15 min daily for first grade.

1.In the website, you can set up an account or not. It's only for practice.
2.Click the sections in first grade section A number sense sections A.1,A.2,A.3 and A.10
3.Complete section K for spatial sense section k.1 and k.2
4. I expect that your child will go through them as I am not collecting any sheets for Math at this point for homework. Every day 15 minutes.

Explore SYMBALOO on the home page and have fun, just to get used to the navigation.
Continue working on tile Dance Mat typing, and Math IXL site.
computer skills list(docx)-- look at the file in the computer skills tab. This is an assignment not graded. Spend 15 minutes working on ONE skill at a time. Start at the top and work your way down. If your child can do it then move on down. NOTHING needs to be turned in.
If yo u need it :Reading log 100 days -download it and print it out from the homework column
1.Students read or be read to for 15 minutes DAILY to parents or older sibling.
2.Students fill out a log with title etc. Copy as many or use the hard copy given.
3.PARENT initials that it has been read.
4. Reading should be 15 min. I will collect this at the end of the month. Tear off the first 30 days or by end of September.
5. Either the paper sheet or the print out is accepted.
